The Seattle Seahawks elevated safety D’Anthony Bell and nose tackle Brandon Pili from the practice squad ahead of their Week 2 clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Bell, a fourth-year pro who initially signed with Seattle in March, provides added safety depth after rookie Nick Emmanwori was ruled out with an ankle injury . Bell made the Seahawks’ initial 53-man roster last month before he was waived and signed to the practice squad.
