Conservative activist Charlie Kirk's alleged assassin Tyler Robinson had been sharing an apartment with his transgender partner in Utah prior to his arrest, law enforcement sources claim.

Robinson, 22, was identified by US authorities last week as Kirk's accused killer , after he eluded police for more than 30 hours following the shooting at Utah Valley University.

Fresh claims have since emerged about Robinson's private life and his living arrangements, as the alleged gunman remains in Utah County Jail.

Speaking to the New York Post , a law enforcement source said Robinson had been living with his transgender partner, who was in the process of transitioning from male to female.

The source said the individual was fully cooperating with the FBI on the investigation.
