SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Attorney General Derek Brown is speaking out after the arrest of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson , the suspect accused in the shooting that killed Charlie Kirk.
Robinson remains in the Utah County Jail and is expected to make his first court appearance on Tuesday afternoon.
Brown said the Utah County Attorney’s Office will be leading the prosecution, but emphasized that his office will stay closely involved by providing resources and support. He praised the quick work of local law enforcement, the FBI and community members who helped investigators, calling the response “a model of working together.”
“We will do everything we can as an office to ensure that this individual is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Brown said. “And my hope is that those out there
