BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - 316 Financial is launching the Jimmie Hale Mission Challenge where they hope to donate up to $10,000 to the mission.

316 Financial is a faith-based digital bank that launched this year as a division of Primis Bank.

Brand Growth & Partnerships Manager Paige Whitaker said it started as a way to combine faith and finances. They tithe and find ways to give back to the community which is where the Jimmie Hale Mission Challenge comes in.

“$10,000 can make such a difference in Birmingham,” said Whitaker. “So if we actually reach our goal, we’re really going to be changing lives. It’s just doing what you do anyway: everyday banking and changing lives at the same time.”
