The Colorado volleyball team, from head coach Jesse Mahoney through the entire roster, vowed to be an improved club this season.

So far, the Buffaloes are keeping their word.

The Buffs continued their undefeated start on Saturday night, topping Toledo in three sets to post a 25-22, 25-15, 25-15 win at the CU Events Center in the second game of the Buffs Invitational.

CU improved to 8-0 while recording its sixth sweep of the season.

“Obviously happy to get out with a win, a 3-0 win, especially with three matches on the weekend because we’ve got a quick turnaround,” Mahoney said. “We struggled in that first set. They served really well. We gave up a lot of free points. But we were able to right the ship in the second half of that set and I think we did a really nice job
