VIRGINIA, USA — On Wednesday conversative activist Charlie Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at a Utah Valley University event.

Several people have taken to social media in the aftermath or Kirk's death, leading some Virginia employers to take actions against employees for making what they consider to be controversial remarks.

Some Virginia employees in the healthcare and public education fields have been placed on leave or terminated for comments made about Charlie Kirk's death.
