Eureka and Peoria Notre Dame’s Boy’s Cross Country both win impressive team titles at the First to the Finish Invitational

( 25News Now ) - One of the largest cross-country events in the country renewed its annual legacy in Peoria with the First to the Finish Invite at Detweiller Park.

Eureka Boy’s won the 1A team title led by Gavin Stalter, while Peoria Notre Dame Boy’s won the 2A team title led by Max Kirby; Morton finished second in 2A led by Maxwell Carter. Delavan’s Corie Green was the top local individual, finishing third in 1A.

After falling just short in the 3A Volleyball State Title match a season ago, Limestone avenged that loss in the Lincoln Invite title match with a thrilling two-set sweep over Mahomet.
