An inaugural Tulsa Tech Week will be held next week, with more than 100 events.

From Monday, Sept. 22 through Saturday, Sept. 27, Tulsa Tech Week will bring together startup founders, funders, creators and community members through events from showcases and forums to creative meetups, activations and family-friendly celebrations.

It is being organized and sponsored by Tariqua “Tai” Nehisi, a native of Brooklyn, New York, who first moved to the city as a Tulsa Remote participant. Tulsa Remote is a program that pays people $10,000 to move here and work remotely.

Nehisi remains in Tulsa and founded Organizely , an artificial intelligence software and management company, in 2021.
