ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A Charlottesville man is facing multiple charges after leading Albemarle County Police on two pursuits Saturday afternoon.

Police say around 2:30 p.m. on September 13, an officer saw a driver run a red light at Hilton Heights Road and Seminole Trail, then continue driving erratically. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle near Woodbrook Drive, the driver refused to pull over, disregarding several more traffic signals. For safety reasons, the pursuit was called off.
