SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Happening in just a few weeks, a local organization is celebrating five years in Michiana.

It’s called IMPower , and the center has served hundreds of families through programs that build wealth, strengthen communities and create legacies.

The center’s founder, Kay Farlow, along with the center’s executive director, Jeremy Gillespie, explain more about the center’s mission, and how you can help organizers celebrate five years.

The center is hosting a five-year anniversary event on Oct. 1 at the Community Learning Center (305 S Michigan Street, Ballroom, South Bend). It will be emceed by WNDU’s Joshua Short.
