Police closed a major Nuneaton road after a serious crash this morning, Sunday, September 14.

Officers responded to reports of a collision on the B4113 Coventry Road in Nuneaton , near the junction with Dorlecote Place, at around 2am. It was not known whether anyone was injured.

Investigations into the crash were continuing. Drivers were urged to avoid the major road, which was likely to remain closed into this evening.

Anyone who witnessed the early-hours crash has been urged to get in touch with Warwickshire Police . Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers.
