BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Birmingham will be experiencing its first ever country music festival this October!

The Iron Hills Country Music Festival will take place the weekend of Oct. 11-12 at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark.

Organizers with the festival say that Iron Hills aims to deliver the “most hospitable concert and event experience in the south.”

Iron Hills representatives describe the festival as having an intersection of rising country stars and modern chart toppers with legacy country artists.
