(KFVS) - Expect more above-average temperatures today!
Meghan Smith says today through Wednesday, temps will run 7 to 10 degrees above normal, with afternoon highs climbing into the mid to upper 90s across the region.
Fortunately, lower humidity will help keep heat indices close to the actual air temps.
Drought conditions are still impacting much of the Heartland, so avoid outdoor burning .
For this evening, some folks in western Kentucky could see isolated to widely scattered showers and storms. For those who will experience the rain, the main impacts are brief downpours or rumbles of thunder.
