C: Drew Allar made a poor decision on his interception but threw a rocket for a TD to Trebor Pena.

Running backs

B: Kaytron Allen and Nick Singleton combined for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns without an explosive run.

Receivers

A-: Had a productive afternoon with eight guys making catches; only negative was Trebor Pena not holding onto a pass inside the 10.

Offensive linemen

B: Penn State struggled on third down at times but rushed for 237 yards and averaged 6.7 yards per play.

Defensive linemen

B+: Relatively quiet but pressured Villanova quarterbacks several times and forced at least one of the two interceptions.
