VETAC, the City of Greater Sudbury’s regreening advisory panel, is pleased to offer free programming to local schools for students in Grades four through 12.

Now in its second year, the classroom program brings Greater Sudbury’s regreening story to life.

Interactive presentations, led by a dedicated educator, offer students a unique opportunity to explore the history of industrial impacts in Greater Sudbury and the city’s ongoing regreening efforts. Each visit supports key curriculum concepts across a range of subjects, including science, history, social studies and geography.

The program features hands-on learning activities that help students develop a deeper, more personal understanding of Greater Sudbury’s environmental transformation.
