GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro police have released the identity of the man killed in a hit-and-run crash Friday night.

Greensboro Police, Greensboro Fire and Guilford County EMS responded to Interstate 40 East near West Gate City Boulevard just before 11 p.m., where a motorcycle traveling east on I-40 crashed with a car.

The motorcyclist, Yahir Duran Garcia, 22, of Graham, died due to his injuries.

Police say the other vehicle did not remain on the scene and is described as a dark green or black sedan. The make and model are unknown; however, the vehicle may have a scrape or scuff mark on the left rear wheel/fender.

The crash remains under investigation.
