GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Friday night, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
Greensboro Police, Greensboro Fire and Guilford County EMS responded to Interstate 40 East near West Gate City Boulevard just before 11 p.m., where a motorcycle traveling east on I-40 crashed with a car.
The motorcyclist was fatally injured. Police will release their identity after next of kin have been notified.
Police say the other vehicle did not remain on the scene and is described as a dark green or black sedan. The make and model is unknown; however, the vehicle may have a scrape or scuff mark on the left rear wheel/fender.
The crash remains under investigation.
