Saguaros tied with Peoria for most MLB top 100 prospects
Four of the top 100 prospects in Major League Baseball will be on display in Surprise this fall.
The Arizona Fall League last week released the rosters for its six teams, and they feature two of the top four prospects in baseball for the first time since 2011 when Bryce Harper and Mike Trout played the same year in the Valley.
Thirteen top 100 prospects total are headed to the AFL, with Surprise and the Peoria Javelinas leading all teams with four each.
Saguaros shortstop Sebastian Walcott (Texas Rangers) is the fourth-ranked minor league prospect, while another Surprise shortstop, Aidan Miller, of the Phillies, is 47th on the list.
