South Lebanon Township police are looking for a man with a warrant who they say escaped from the Wellspan Philhaven Hospital.

Police say Forrest James Pierce, 31, left the hospital at around 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12. Pierce is a 5-foot-11, 173-pound white man. He was last seen wearing a cream-colored shirt, glasses, and a black beanie-style hat.

He was last seen in a residential area near Fox Run Road.

Police said people should call 911 immediately if they see Pierce and should not approach him.

Police did not say what specific charges they are seeking Pierce on, but he has outstanding trespassing-related charges out of Cumberland County.

South Lebanon Township police are being assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police Helicopter and other county police agencies.
