NEW ALBANY, Ind. —
Saturday was a great day to find some good, cheap books while helping a good cause.
The Friends of the Floyd County Library hosted an outdoor book sale in the Floyd County Library's parking lot.
Thousands of books were priced to sell.
Hardcover books went for $1, and paperbacks went for just 50 cents.
The book sale's proceeds will help support and enhance the Floyd County Library's programs, services and community initiatives.
The Friends of the Floyd County Library was founded in 1982.
Its purpose is to be a connection between the library management and the public, focusing attention on the library and the services it provides.
