LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed to death in Valley Station early Sunday morning.

Officers were called out to the 4100 block of Autumn Way just before 7 a.m.

When they arrived at the scene, police said they found a Hispanic woman with lacerations to her throat.

The woman died at the scene.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has been notified, according to LMPD.

No arrests have been made, and LMPD's Homicide Unit is leading the ongoing investigation.
