New parents J.J. McCarthy and Katya Kuropas are adjusting to life as a family of three — err, five.

One day after announcing the birth of their first child, son Rome Micah McCarthy, the new Vikings quarterback and his fiancée took to Instagram to share new photos of the bundle of joy with his fur “brothers,” Marley and Rocky McCarthy.

“Marley, Rocky & Rome … that works! I think we’ll keep him,” the caption of Saturday’s post read. 6

Kuropas announced Rome’s birth on Friday — four days after McCarthy led the Vikings to a stunning comeback win over the Bears in his first NFL start.

“Welcome to the world Rome Micah McCarthy,” new mom Kuropas gushed on Instagram. “The sweetest, most perfect gift from God!! We are so unbelievably blessed to be your parents.” 6
