Manny Pacquiao has paid a heartfelt tribute to Ricky Hatton following the news of his death.

Manny, who is regarded as one of the greatest professional boxers of all time and is the only eight-division world champion in history, said he had ‘shared unbelievable moments’ with the former world champion during their careers.

Hatton, 46, was found dead at his home in Hyde earlier this morning, with Greater Manchester Police saying there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

The boxing star captivated fans all over the world with a number of memorable heart-on-sleeve style performances. His professional record included 45 wins (32 by knockout) and only 3 losses over a 15-year career span and Hatton was known for his unrelenting will and crowd-pleasing charisma.
