ATLANTA — After huge wins over the weekend , Georgia Tech has entered the Associated Press top-25 college football rankings and Georgia has inched a little closer to No. 1.

Georgia Tech clocks in at No. 18, the highest ranking for the Yellow Jackets since 2015 on the heels of their first 3-0 start since 2016. They beat Clemson, 24-21, with a game-ending field goal that was the longest game-winner in program history.

Georgia meanwhile moved from No. 6 to No. 5 thanks to their thrilling 44-41 comeback overtime win over Tennessee in Knoxville.
