BALTIMORE — A key Browns defender left Sunday’s game in Baltimore in the first half and was questionable to return with cramps but returned to the game to start the second half.

Defensive back Denzel Ward was getting attended to on the bench when the Browns gave up a 15-yard touchdown pass from Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson to wide receiver Tylan Wallace to take a 10-0 lead.

He was then taken back to the locker room.

Ward returned to the game to start the second half.

Third-year cornerback Cameron Mitchell replaced Ward as the outside corner opposite Greg Newsome II.
