Syracuse, N.Y. — Darrell Gill Jr. led the way for Syracuse with 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Friday’s win against Colgate.

No catch was more impressive than his 43-yard touchdown in the first quarter, though. Gill leapt over a Colgate defender for the catch and Syracuse’s second touchdown of the night.

According to Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss, it was the best catch in the country this week.

Gill earned the top spot on Moss’s list, meaning he’ll receive a special pair of gloves after producing teach tape on how to high point the football. The catch was the first touchdown of the first multi-touchdown game of Gill’s career.

It was a weekend of highlight reel catches in Syracuse as the local high school scene saw one of its own Saturday.
