Ravens outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy has been ruled out of Sunday's home opener with a hamstring injury.

Van Noy went down after a third-down incompletion with about 12 minutes left in the second quarter. He tossed his helmet in frustration as he came to the sideline.

Van Noy led the Ravens with 12.5 sacks last season, the fourth-most in the league. He was named to his first career Pro Bowl at 33 years old.

With Van Noy sidelined, rookie outside linebacker Mike Green will see increased snaps, giving the talented second-round pick who led college football in sacks last season his opportunity to shine after a strong preseason.
