Alabama's college football team has climbed five spots in the AP Top 25 rankings following a decisive 38-14 victory against Wisconsin. The latest rankings, released for Week 4, continue to feature Ohio State, Penn State, and LSU in the top three positions.
Georgia Tech has made a notable entry into the rankings, coming in at No. 18. This marks the Yellow Jackets' highest ranking since 2015, following their first 3-0 start since 2016. Georgia Tech secured their spot after a thrilling 24-21 win over Clemson, capped by a game-winning field goal that set a program record for distance.
Georgia also saw a rise in the rankings, moving from No. 6 to No. 5 after a dramatic 44-41 overtime win against Tennessee. The Bulldogs' performance has brought them closer to the top spot.

Texas A&M also made headlines by jumping into the top 10 after a narrow 41-40 victory over Notre Dame. The Aggies overcame significant challenges, including a blocked punt returned for a touchdown and 13 penalties, to secure their win. They are now 3-0 for the first time since 2021 and have their highest ranking since November of last season.
Despite their struggles, Notre Dame remains in the rankings at No. 24, becoming the first team since 1988 to stay ranked with an 0-2 record. The Irish lost their first two games by a combined four points, including a close match against Miami.
In addition to Georgia Tech and Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Southern California also made their season debuts in the Top 25. Vanderbilt's recent 24-point victory at South Carolina has earned them their highest ranking since 2008.
