A domestic violence disturbance near 7600 Ochre View caused a four-hour shelter-in-place order Sunday morning, according to Colorado Springs police.
The order was put in effect near Woodmen and Marksheffel roads at 7:55 a.m. and was lifted at 11:55 a.m. Police say they were able to "evacuate" the residence, but the suspect, Nickolas Jones, barricaded himself in the house.
A blotter post from the Colorado Springs Police Department states that the Tactical Enforcement Unit responded to the scene due to involvement of firearms. Eventually, Jones was located and arrested without incident.
