Colorado Springs police saw gun violence, traffic accidents and arson around the city, making a total of 349 arrests last week, according to department records.

From Sept. 7 to Sept. 13, the Colorado Springs Police Department posted 14 blotter entries to its public database of arrests approved for public release. Here is a recap of those entries.

CSPD's blotter page mentions that the blotter posts are only a small fraction of daily calls to service.

Sunday, Sept. 7

At 2:06 a.m., one man was arrested after allegedly threatening two people and kidnapping one woman using a gun near South Academy Boulevard and Pikes Peak Avenue. The woman was uninjured and Jimmy Melgoza, 33, faces felony charges of menacing and kidnapping.

At 2:15 a.m., police responded to the 3700 block of Astrozon Boule
