In a TV year that saw four celebrated series accumulate a stunning 97 nominations , the 77 th Primetime Emmy Awards guarantee reasons to cheer.

Nate Bargatze is hosting the show, which will broadcast live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 14 (CBS, 8 ET/5 PT, and streaming on Paramount+). Apple TV+'s “Severance” leads with 27 nods, followed by HBO’s “The Penguin” (24) and Apple’s “The Studio” and HBO’s “The White Lotus” (23 each).

The Hollywood-centric “The Studio” tied a 2024 record set by “The Bear” for the most nominations in a comedy series.

Also of note this year, movie megastar Harrison Ford , 83, nabbed his first Emmy nomination for his role as a cranky therapist on Apple TV+’s “Shrinking,” which earned seven nods in all.
