SCRANTON, Pa. — A vigil was held on Sunday at the Lackawanna County Courthouse for the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Kirk was shot and killed at a university event in Utah last week.

"They really came out and showed how they felt. It's a message of unity, that we are one nation under god. We started out with the pledge of allegiance, and now we open with prayers for Charlie Kirk, and now we're ending with prayers for Charlie Kirk." said Susanne Green, an organizer of the event.

Plenty of people were on hand at the vigil to honor the late Charlie Kirk.
