An outside fire extended into and damaged an attic at a one-story home in East Hollywood, authorities said Sunday.

Firefighters dispatched at 1 p.m. Sunday to 1515 N. Winona Blvd. had the fire out within 28 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
