A vehicle crashing into a power line caused an outage for over 1,500 Colorado Springs Utilities customers on Sunday afternoon.
For over an hour, customers near Voyager Parkway and Ridgeline Drive were experiencing an outage due to the crash.
The utility company estimated that customers could have been without power until 6:43 p.m., but crew members were able to repair the damage quickly.
The status of the driver is unknown.
An outage earlier on Sunday near the Colorado Springs Airport left 1,300 customers without power for about an hour, from 9:45 to 10:50 a.m. The two outages are unrelated to each another.
