Two succumb to injuries from shooting in South Valley

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Bernalillo County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday in the South Valley.

According to a BCSO spokesperson, the shooting took place near the O'Reilly Auto Parts store near Coors Boulevard SW and Blake Road SW.

Two people who were taken to a local hospital have die from their injuries.

One suspect has been detained and BCSO deputies are looking for another suspect with help from air support.

The investigation is ongoing with multiple active scenes. KOAT will update this story when more information becomes available.
