Prince Harry defended the secrets he told about the royal family in his tell-all memoir, “Spare,” after reuniting with his father, King Charles.
“I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public,” the Duke of Sussex told the Guardian in an interview published Sunday.
“It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear.”
Harry, 40, insisted that speaking out wasn’t a matter of “stubbornness,” saying, “It is having principles.”
“It is not about revenge, it is about accountability,” the royal continued, adding, “You cannot have reconciliation before you have truth.”
