Prince Harry insisted his shocking 2023 memoir “Spare” was “not about revenge” or “dirty laundry” — and that his “conscience is clear” despite the shockwaves it sent through the royal family.

“It was a series of corrections to stories already out there. One point of view had been put out and it needed to be corrected,” Harry, who turns 41 on Monday, told the Guardian in a recent interview.

“It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear,” he added. “It is not about revenge, it is about accountability.”
