PHILADELPHIA − Jalen Carter was not benched to start the game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 14.

Carter was ejected for spitting against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 4.

Since Carter was ejected before the Eagles even played a defensive snap, he was not suspended further, with the NFL considering it time served.

But that didn't rule out the Eagles from imposing their own discipline.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni had said during the week that any further punishment would be "handled in-house."
