Since Carter was ejected before the Eagles even played a defensive snap, he was not suspended further, with the NFL considering it time served.
But that didn't rule out the Eagles from imposing their own discipline.
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni had said during the week that any further punishment would be "handled in-house."
