Taylor Dearden brought the hybrid shoe trend to the Emmy Awards 2025, opting for wedged sneaker heels. “The Pitt” star arrived on the red carpet at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday wearing Brandon Blackwood ‘s Paloma Sneaker Heel style.

Dearden, who portrays the character Dr. Melissa “Mel” King in the HBO Max medical drama series about a Pittsburgh trauma center, opted for the Paloma sneaker heel in black. The shoes feature a slingback pump design and have a velcro strap that wraps around the top of the foot.

The uppers are made out of mesh, which gives the shoe a sneaker appeal from up close. The shoe also features a sculpted wedge heel measuring 100mm and a pointed toe with crisscross laces decorating the vamp, as well as leather trimming and details throughout the shoe.
