New York Knicks guard Josh Hart has a strong message for the city of Boston after the New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox on Saturday night.

“NY is running through Boston,” Hart wrote on X.

There was speculation that Hart was responding to comments made by former Celtics guard Paul Pierce regarding the Boston Cel tics’ playoff loss to New York this past season.

“Yeah, I think they blew that series,” Pierce told Heavy on Celtics last Wednesday. “Absolutely. They had 20-point leads in the first two games at home and they lost them both? Yeah, they blew that series. That had nothing to do with the Knicks’ talent and all that.”
