STILLWATER — Kalib Hicks found a new home just 80 miles away.
The Oklahoma State running back made a Bedlam switch when he transferred to Oklahoma State during the offseason. After two games, he leads the Cowboys in rushing attempts (35) and yards (119).
Hicks will look to continue that trend in Friday’s home game against Tulsa. Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium.
While with the Sooners, he was in a crowded running backs room. He was pursuing more opportunities and discovered them in Stillwater.
“I’ve been here for about eight or nine months, so it’s been fun learning my teammates and new community and staff,” Hicks said. “It’s been fun.”
