EAST ST. LOUIS, ILL. (First Alert 4) - Kennya, who did not wish to share her last name, said she had just pulled up to the home she shares with her grandmother on North 40th Street in East St. Louis around 3:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
She said she saw a man walking down the street.
“He was just an innocent bystander, he was walking, I put my head down,” she said. “Then I looked up and he was getting attacked by four dogs.”
Kennya said she went to get her grandmother, Diane Jones.
“I went down there and saw like four or five dogs on him,” Jones said. “Then I saw the owners getting them off the guy, he got in the yard, stood up, but then he just fell down.”
When First Alert 4 got to the scene, there was a St. Clair County Animal Services vehicle and several East St. Louis Police vehicles
