CRESWELL, Ore. - Lane County Sheriff's deputies and Oregon State Troopers responded to a disorderly conduct report on Saturday, leading to an unexpected fire incident, according to the Lane County Sheriff's Office.

LCSO officials said the event took place on Sept. 13 around 1 p.m. on Walnut Lane, north of Creswell. The suspect, identified as 61-year-old Patrick Clancy Croson of Creswell, ignited a fire in a fifth wheel trailer on the property. His actions prompted a swift response from deputies who utilized an armored rescue vehicle and a drone to ensure firefighters could safely address the blaze.
