The Melbourne mum famously dubbed 'Karen from Brighton' has blasted the Allan government’s bold plans to build high-rise apartments in her ritzy suburb.

Jodi Grollo originally went viral on social media after she complained to Nine News about being forced to walk the same streets of her bayside suburb during the 2020 lockdowns.

The comments drew harsh criticism from then-Premier Daniel Andrews in one of his daily media briefings and saw Grollo become an unlikely pop culture icon.
