Police have released new information regarding two persons of interest as they continue investigations into an armed robbery and assault incident at Morayfield yesterday, 14 September.

Investigations indicate that around 5:45am, a man and a woman attended a service station on the Bruce Highway, where they proceeded to assault two separate women and steal their vehicles, but were unsuccessful.

The man, believed to be a 35-year-old from Granville, is described as Caucasian in appearance, with short, dark, buzz-cut-style hair and brown eyes. The man also has distinctive tattoos on the left side of his face and along his left arm and hand.
