No translation needed: Broken Arrow Public Schools is now accepting applications through Nov. 14 for juniors and seniors interested in earning the Seal of Biliteracy. To earn the seal, students must demonstrate proficiency in English and at least one other language.

Adjunct teacher count: At Monday’s meeting, Tulsa Public Schools’ Board of Education approved hiring 17 noncertified adjunct teachers or “aspiring educators” for the 2025-26 school year.

The 17 adjuncts are teaching at Celia Clinton, Hoover, Kendall-Whittier, Marshall, Mayo Demonstration, McKinley, Mitchell, Whitman and Zarrow elementary schools and McLain and Memorial high schools.
