A teacher from the NSW Central Coast has been charged with sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
On Saturday, police commenced an investigation into reports a 42-year-old man, had sexually assaulted the girl multiple times.
Less than 24 hours later Child Abuse Squad detectives searched a home in Kincumber, near Gosford, and seized a car and laptops for forensic examination.
The man was arrested at Sydney Airport on Sunday night, where police allege he was attempting to fly to South Africa, via Perth.
He was charged with a total of 11 offences, including seven counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child between 14 and 16.
He did not appear in court on Monday and made no application for bail, which was formally refused.
