A collision on the M6 has triggered long delays on the motorway through North Staffordshire this morning. And there are Monday morning rush-hour queues across the A500 and A50 too.

Starting with the motorway and a collision has occurred on the southbound stretch near Junction 14. That has seen one lane shut off with the southbound exit slip-road also closed.

According to a live map from National Highways and those queues are now back to Junction 15. Traffic has come to a halt on the approach to Junction 14.

Subsequently the A500 is at a stand-still on the approach to the junction with queues almost back to Sideway. There are also the usual delays on the A500 at Junction 16 of the M6.
