US Vice President JD Vance has announced he will pay tribute to his friend Charlie Kirk by hosting an episode of the MAGA activist’s podcast.

The Charlie Kirk Show, which has 1.68 million followers on the popular video-sharing platform Rumble and 9.8 million followers on TikTok, will be hosted by the Vice President on Tuesday.

Mr Vance, who considered Kirk a close, personal friend, made the announcement on X.

“Tomorrow, I will have the honor of hosting the Charlie Kirk Show,” Mr Vance wrote.

“Please join me as I pay tribute to my friend.”

The episode is scheduled to begin at 12pm ET (2am AEST) and is likely to then be available on other podcast streaming services. Loading Tweet

Mr Vance has supported Kirk’s family since the assassination at Utah Valley University on September 10.
