Here’s a simple way to avoid disturbance from can collectors (letter to the editor)

In his letter, Andrew Ostrowski notes that people collecting bottles from trash cans at night create a disturbance.

Some years ago, to avoid this problem, I began to put deposit bottles in separate plastic bags and place them near the regular trash cans.

The people collecting deposit bottles know they are there for them and pick them up and leave.

No noise, no problems.
